EIP-7702 (Pectra) lets an externally-owned account delegate its code to a smart contract via a type-4 SetCode transaction — enabling batching, gas sponsorship and passkeys straight from an EOA. A delegated account carries on-chain code 0xef0100 · <delegate>.
